Jun 18, 2026"Amazing restaurant in the heart of Lisbon. I wasn't expecting the quality I received, it blew my mind. after a stroll in the centre, my friends and I found this little gem. Everything from the starters to the main courses was impeccable. Highly recommended. If you're a cod lover you need to try the bacalao do lis, they unique recipe, it's mouthwatering."

May 28, 2026"Didn't quite like the salted cod as there were too many bones in it. The spinach and garlic potatoes were done very well, though. We loved the seafood stew, and the octopus arroz was big enough for 2 pax imo. Please try the seafood stew as it was hearty and yummy!!"

May 27, 2026"We stopped at Taberna do Lis, as our first choice’s waitlist had closed for the evening. It was a chilly night and the inside atmosphere looked cozy and inviting. We ordered some cauliflower soup, Portuguese steak (with French fries), and some piglet coquettes (the mushroom ones were gone for the evening). The steak was a fir cut of meat and quite tasty. We both liked the cauliflower soup. The coquettes were ok. For dessert, we split some Portuguese pudding; it was a bit sweet for our tastes—but good. Our servers were very attentive and super friendly. The my did get slammed about the time we ordered dessert with a group of at least 25 who did not have reservations, so we ordered dessert just in time. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and our dinner."

I had the bife a la portuguesa which had nice tasty meat in a sauce that reminisced oriental cuisine. The lemon pie dissert was tasty and soft, as these things should be."

Mar 30, 2026"The entire experience was amazing start to finish. The staff is friendly, professional and kind. The food is fresh, flavorful and of utmost quality. We were in Lisbon for a few days and ensured to visit it twice. That’s how much we liked it. There are options for inside and outside. Inside is pretty cozy with the walls covered in different wine caskets. Outside is very nice as you aren’t sitting on top of crowds as it is like in some areas. I have been to about 30 countries and love shrimp. The shrimp here were the ABSOLUTE best I ever had."
